About the School
Mengham Junior School is a two form entry Junior School on Hayling Island on the south coast of England and we have up to 240 children between the ages of 7 and 11.
We pride ourselves on being a school with a happy environment where children can successfully gain the skills and passion for a lifelong journey of learning.
We have spacious, bright classrooms, a state of the art library, a music room, a fully equipped kitchen where the children can cook as well as a large kitchen where our lunches are made freshly every day.
Outside we have a large field, 2 playgrounds, an amphitheatre and a sensory garden. Each year group has its own garden area where the children enjoy growing flowers and vegetables.
Mengham Junior School is all about families and school working together to give our children the very best childhood.
Our Governors and Senior Leadership Team have put in place an ambitious School Improvement Plan to ensure that the school continues to improve and develop further on a journey to outstanding.
